Alessandro Giuseppi was born in 1992 and received from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” his M.Sc. degree in Control Engineering in 2016 and his Ph.D. in Automatica in 2019.
Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Researcher (RTDa) in Automatic Control, field for which he received in 2023 National Scientific Qualification for the position of Associate Professor (ASN 09/G1 II fascia), at the Department of Computer, Control, and Management Engineering (DIAG) ''Antonio Ruberti'' of the same university.
Since 2016, he has participated in 8 EU and National funded research projects and several other applied funded research studies.
He is currently collaborating with the non-profit research consortium CRAT as both researcher and project manager in the scope of the Horizon Europe programme.
In 2023, Alessandro was among the funding members of the Start-Up “Automation Intelligence and Control” (AICO), where he currently serves as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Among the awards he received are the third and fourth editions of the ''Minerva Prize'', recognized for his research activity during his PhD studies and his first years as a researcher, and the #T-TeC award, issued by the company Telespazio spa for his applied research in the aerospace field.
He is currently an associate editor for the Journal of Control, Automation, and Systems (IJCAS) edited by Springer.
His main research activities are in the fields of intelligent systems and network control.
