Telespazio Technology Contest 2020
Dr. Alessandro Giuseppi, researcher of the DIAG research group "Networked Systems", Syed Saad Saif and Alessandro Santopaolo, students of the Master in Control Engineering, won the Telespazio Technology Contest 2020 (T-TeC 2020), which involved 20 Universities from all around Europe, in the "Photon" category, dedicated to scientific innovations in the aerospace field.
The team presented a project that combines control systems and Deep Learning methodologies for the prediction and management of wildfires on the basis of satellite data.
