I am the founder and CEO of Synapsi.ai, a deep tech startup focused on developing a modular platform for Computer Vision and AI on IoT and Edge devices.
I received my Bachelor's (2017), Master's (2019), and Ph.D. (2023) degrees in Computer Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome. My thesis focused on cooperative scheduling and load balancing techniques in Fog and Edge Computing. Subsequently, until 2026, I held the position of Researcher (RTD-A) in Computer Engineering at Sapienza, within the PNRR – NextGeneration EU program. My research interests cover architectures and algorithms for Cloud and Fog/Edge Computing infrastructures, exploring distributed systems, containerization, and machine learning applied to the Edge-to-Cloud continuum. I have published over 20 scientific papers in international journals and conferences (IEEE, ACM).
With Synapsi, your cameras become intelligent sensors capable of generating structured and reliable data. Our platform transforms corporate video streams and operational images into data ready to power decision-making systems, AI agents, and automated workflows. The technology combines real-time video analysis, contextual reasoning, and automatic validation, offering a scalable and easily integrable AI layer. Whether it is urban traffic, infrastructure management, transit monitoring, or operational control, our system makes the physical world readable, interpretable, and actionable for digital systems, enhancing safety, efficiency, and real-time decision-making capabilities.
