Dr. Vincenzo Ronca is a PostDoctoral Researcher at the Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering (DIAG) of Sapienza University of Rome since January 2023. He got his bachelor’s degree in Clinical Engineer and his Master Degree in Biomedical Engineer at Sapienza University of Rome. In 2015 he did his Master thesis in Paris, for a period of six months, working on an electroencephalographic study in the automotive industry. For two years, he worked in a french startup, managing neuroconsulting project, managing neuroergonomic studies and partecipating in research activity based on neurophysiologic signals, mainly focused on EEG analysis. In 2023 Dr. Ronca graduated as a PhD in Morphogenesis and Tissue Engineering, Biophysics curriculum, at the Department of Anatomical, Histological, Forensic and Orthopaedic Sciences at the Sapienza University of Rome.
He is co-author of more than 20 scientific articles in peer-reviewed international journals, and more than 15 scientific contributions in peer-reviewed national and international conferences.
His research interests are mainly focused on neurophysiological signal processing, such as Eletroencephalography, Eletrodermal Activity and Photoplethysmography, in order to evaluate human mental states in real or realistic environments, such as aviation, surgery, and automotive.
