Francesca Di Pillo is an Associate Professor of Management Engineering at the Department of Computer, Control, and Management Engineering of Sapienza University of Rome, where she teaches Economics and Business Organization and Process Industry Economics. She holds a Master Degree in Economics from Sapienza University of Rome, a Master of Business Administration and a PhD in Management Engineering, both from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Until 2020, she was assistant professor at the Department of Business Engineering of the University of Rome Tor Vergata, where she taught Corporate Finance for the Master's Degree Course in Management Engineering and Fundamentals of Political Economy, Economics and Business Organization, Fundamentals of Economic Regulation and Financial Engineering for several second level university Masters and PhD courses. She has participated in many research projects (PRIN, University Research Projects, POR FESR), and is the author of about 45 scientific publications in international journals, conference proceedings and book chapters. Her research activity was carried out in collaboration with important public institutions (such as CNR and ARERA). She has been a member of the organizational and scientific committee of numerous conferences and is a reviewer for several international journals, including Energy Policy, Technological Forecasting and Social Change and International Journal of Technology Management. Her main research interests concern environmental sustainability, energy policy, company performances evaluation, international marketing and knowledge management.
