Since I was in the high school, engineering subjects and more specifically computer science have always aroused my interest. That passion allowed me to reach important goals such as a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and a master's degree in Science in Engineering of Computer Science. The obtained results along with the experience of the first conference attended confirmed my willingness to pursue a Ph.D. career.
The area my research focuses on is that of the High Performance Computing, with particular attention paid in optimizing performance of parallel and concurrent applications. The research objectives concern unconventional hardware and software supports for scheduling activities.
