Cinzia Daraio
PRESENT POSITION
Cinzia Daraio is Full Professor of Management Engineering at the Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering Antonio Ruberti, University of Rome “La Sapienza” (Italy) where she teaches Efficiency and Productivity Analysis (Master Degree in Management Engineering), Quantitative Models for Economic Analysis and Management (Master Degree in Data Science), Economics and Business Organization (Undergraduate Degree in Electronic Engineering and others) and Economics (Master Degree in Electrical Engineering).
PREVIOUS POSITIONS
From December 2011 to August 2020 she has been Associate Professor of Management Engineering at the Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering Antonio Ruberti, University of Rome “La Sapienza” (Italy).
From November 2008 to November 2011 she has been Assistant Professor at the Department of Management, Second School of Engineering, University of Bologna (Italy). From November 2002 to October 2006 she has been research associate at the Institute for Informatics and Telematics of the Italian National Research Council (IIT CNR), Pisa, and, from November 2006 to October 2008, post-doctoral research fellow and teaching assistant at the Department of Electrical Systems and Automation, School of Engineering, University of Pisa (Italy).
EDUCATION
She graduated cum laude in Economics and Business in 1999 at the University of Pisa and she obtained a Diploma degree in Economics cum laude in 1999 at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, Pisa. She obtained a Master of Arts in Statistics in 2002 at the Université catholique the Louvain (Belgium); and she got her Ph.D. in Economics and Management in 2003 at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, Pisa (Italy). She is external member of the Laboratory of Economics and Management (LEM) of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies and has a stable research collaboration with the ISBA Institute, Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium.
